Even during the COVID-19 crisis our real estate attorney, James A. Oliver, still practices his “ABC’s” (Always Be Closing)! Despite the pandemic, our clients still need to sign documents to finalize the purchase of their new home or refinance and take advantage of those low interest rates.

Conducting closings outside in our parking garage limits the exposure of our clients, attorneys, and staff.  We restrict closings to only the buyers/borrowers (sorry real estate agents!) and schedule sellers to sign their documents at a separate time.  Closings must go on, but we have implemented procedures with the safety of our clients and staff in mind. Plus, it gives a great story years from now when buyers recall signing their home closing documents in a parking garage!
