Dedicated to zealous advocacy, Morgan Davis practices criminal defense in Wake County and surrounding counties. Experienced in defense against both felony and misdemeanor matters, her focus is defense against sex offenses and other domestic matters. Such charges include aggravated sexual assault, rape, prostitution, indecent liberties, domestic battery, domestic trespass, violation of domestic violence protective orders, sexual battery, and more.
Ms. Davis’ experience further includes defense against charges such as driving while impaired (DWI), larceny, assault, property damage, underage drinking tickets, open container tickets and traffic tickets.
Prior to joining the defense team at Hatch, Little & Bunn, Morgan Davis worked at the Office of the Wake County Public Defender where she developed invaluable litigation skills, and developed long-lasting professional relationships. Ms. Davis was the Office’s primary counsel for Satellite Based Monitoring hearings until she joined the Criminal Defense Team of Hatch, Little & Bunn in January, 2014.
Morgan Davis is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. While at the UNC School of Law, faculty and peers elected her as Symposium Editor for the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. Her peers further selected her as a member of the prestigious UNC School of Law Broun National Trial Team. Morgan earned her bachelor’s degree from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
