Originally from Rochester, New York, Mr. Delaney received his B.A. in Economics from Dickinson College in Carlisle,
PA. He later received his J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
After clerking with the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, Mr. Delaney moved to Raleigh, North
Carolina and joined James A. Oliver to form Oliver & Delaney, PA. Mr. Delaney's practice is focused in the areas of
civil and criminal litigation. Mr. Delaney is also a Major with the U.S. Army Reserves JAG Corps, and recently
completed a nine-month tour in Kuwait, where he served in the position of Senior Trial Counsel.
