We are pleased to announce
the addition of two partners, James A. Oliver and Sean Delaney, to our law firm as of June 1,
2008. Mr. Delaney is a veteran litigator with extensive experience in both civil and criminal
trials. After law school he clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces
in Washington, D.C. and then moved to Raleigh to join James Oliver in the firm of Oliver and
Delaney. He is also a Major with the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corp and recently completed a tour
of duty in Kuwait where he served in the position of Senior Trial Counsel.
Mr. Oliver's practice is devoted to all aspects of commercial and residential real property
transactions. We are especially pleased to now have the ability to offer residential closing
services and refinancing to our clients. Mr. Oliver is also an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve
JAG Corp.
Together the new partners bring a combined 22 years of legal experience to the firm and a significant
expansion to our expertise. As always we appreciate your confidence in allowing us to handle legal
matters for you.
