A. BARTLETT WHITE

Bart’s practice area is in general civil litigation and extends to Landlord/Tenant issues, Environmental law, Condemnation, Construction Law, Real Property and Contract disputes, and Personal Injury claims. Bart has extensive experience with civil litigation on both sides of the bench – he served as a Wake County Magistrate Judge for four years before joining Hatch, Little & Bunn, LLP in 1986.

Bart graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1977 and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1981. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in North Carolina and Virginia and the Federal District Courts in the Eastern and Western Districts of North Carolina. Bart is a member of the Wake County Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association.

Bart ran cross-country for Broughton High School and is still an avid athlete who plays tennis and competes in triathlons. He lives in Raleigh with his wife Cynthia and their two daughters (who are avid athletes themselves and are rapidly catching up to their father in road races).
